OK.
Alright! It has been a busy last couple of weeks. I apologize for the lack of updates.
Not too much has been going on. I’m kind of in a strange spot as far as photography goes. I am trying to get everything ready for the show in November, and it has gone well, I just need to tie up all the loose ends. I keep second guessing myself, and I think that is mostly due to the unbelievable amount of photos I have been recently exposed to. I am exhausted from trying to break apart photos, find what I enjoy, apply it to my work and continue to define my voice. It’s a struggle that I know every artist deals with.

After all that, I was at the bookstore this weekend and I came across The Nature of Photographs by Stephen Shore. Shore is one of my favorites and I have been meaning to buy this book for awhile, but due to all the recent events, the book really called out to me. I haven’t finished it yet, but the advice that I acquired from the first few pages has been auspicious.

Anyway, this guy rules.
WESTERN STATE
This is way old, but I kind of rediscovered it today and remembered how inspiring/awesome it is.
SUMMER IS OVER

It was a good one. There were a lot of pancakes & a homeless dude with nunchucks.
Some photos from it.
PORCH PARTY!

Every Wednesday I meet up with 5 other photographers to talk about photography and drink beer. What more out of life could you ask for? We’re planning a show in October. Possibly around the 11th?
READY. STEADY. GO.

I am glad to get this thing going thanks to Justin Cox. Now I can actually post items and tell you about my day!I went to Del Rio this past weekend. The film is currently being processed.
I pretty much want this blog to exist for a few reasons. One being to post about what is going on with my photography and the world around me. And the other to post about what I have recently been into, hopefully art and music related.
